Volunteers Needed for:
1. Checking in Students (8:45pm to 9:45pm)
2. Riding Busses and Chaperoning at the Event (9:30pm - 2am)
3. Driving Separately and Chaperoning at the Event (9:45pm - 1:30am)
Checking in Students - 15 volunteers - (8:45pm to 9:45pm):
Volunteers will need to check in students.
Collect any personal items.
Check students to bring no prohibited items.
Help load the buses.
Chaperones at the Event – 11 volunteers - (9:45pm - 1:30am):
We need a mix of genders.
Drive to Belmont and park for free.
Pair up with another chaperone at the park to monitor designated areas, rotating to different places. (We can help you find a partner!)
Follow instructions from Belmont Park staff.
Keep a watchful eye on graduates.
Periodically check restrooms to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.
Take breaks in a "quiet room"
Pizza, water, coffee and cookies provided for chaperones.
Bus Riding Chaperones that Chaperone the Event and Ride the Bus – 5 volunteers - (9:30pm to 2am):
Same as Chaperones at the Event PLUS
Ensure appropriate behavior on the bus
Other Details:
Any adult community member can chaperone.
Chaperones do not ride rides or eat Belmont, vendor-provided food.
Chaperones may bring only a small clutch no larger than 4.5" x 6.5"
