Role Overview: Judging Day Data Entry Support
Judging Day Data Entry Support Volunteers play a vital behind-the-scenes role in helping the Norfolk County Fair's competitions run smoothly. Working alongside committee members and Fair staff, volunteers accurately enter judging results into the Fair's competition management system, helping ensure award placements are recorded efficiently and exhibitors receive timely results. This role is ideal for volunteers who enjoy organized, detail-oriented work in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Enter competition results accurately into the Fair's competition management system.
Verify information for accuracy and report any discrepancies to committee members or Fair staff.
Assist with organizing judging sheets, scorecards, and competition paperwork.
Support committee members by preparing and organizing documents throughout the judging process.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling competition results.
Help keep the judging office organized and running efficiently.
Work collaboratively with committee members and fellow volunteers to meet timelines throughout the day.
Represent the Norfolk County Fair with a professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
Skills & Qualities:
Comfortable using a computer and entering data accurately.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Able to work independently while following instructions.
Reliable, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
Time Commitment:
This volunteer opportunity takes place on Judging Day – Monday, October 5, 2026, with shifts approximately 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
