Oregon Ducks vs. Maryland *****Kickoff for the game is 4:00*****
Game starts at 4:00pm on Saturday, November 9th, 2024
Please plan to arrive between 1:00-1:30pm at Autzen Stadium.Volunteers will be allowed to enter at 1:30 with beverage sales begin 90 minutes before kickoff.
MANDATORY Training needed prior to volunteering:
- If you do not have your service permit, please take an OLCC approved course online (about 1.5 hours long).
- This allows you to serve alcohol and you are required to have one in order to volunteer at the games.
- The YG PTO recommends this online course: Oregon OLCC Alcohol Server Permit Course - https://www.aplusservereducation.com/oregon-olcc-alcohol-server-education/
- After completing the course, apply for the servers permit at OLCC - https://www.oregon.gov/olcc/pages/portalservicepermits.aspx
- Fees for the test and the application are about $40 total ($14 for the class, $28 for the license and test). You can pay and be reimbursed by the PTO. To be reimbursed, please send payment confirmations to ygschoolpto@gmail.com for our records. If you are unable to pay and be reimbursed, please contact PTO at ygschoolpto@gmail.com.
Day of Game:
- The “Service Group Gate List Check-In” booth is to the right of the South Gate. Please let them know you are from Yujin Gakuen and your name, they may request to see your ID so please bring one. They will give you a wrist band and meal voucher. You will need your OLCC license number when you get to our beverage booth.
- Our Beverage Booth is on the Southwest side of Autzen Stadium. Enter through the South Gate, go to the top of the stairs, then turn left. We are in the large area with two trailers between the two entrances for gate 37.
- If you want to choose a particular station, we recommend arriving early. We may ask people to change jobs if important ones are not filled (e.g., cashiering).
Time commitment:
- All volunteers are expected to arrive approximately 3 hours early, be ready to serve 2 hours before the game, and serve until the end of 3rd quarter. If you have time after that, and are able to help us clean up the booth, that would be appreciated. However, if you must leave at that time, we understand.
- A meal voucher will be provided to use at pre-determined concession stands. U of O will provide each volunteer a voucher for a food item for their shift. Meal break happens at kick-off.
Transportation:
- We will have FREE bus passes available for pick up during the week of the game. The passes will be in the YG front office.
- All buses start running 4 hours before the game. It comes every ten minutes or so. If you use VRC Park & Ride, it takes about 20 mins to get to the stadium with traffic, so please plan accordingly to be on time for your volunteer shift.
- The stadium area will be very congested and hard to find a free parking space. Some people get a ride from family or friends, but you might want to arrange a meeting place and expect to walk.
- There are limited parking passes available and must be used for carpooling.
