Come volunteer at Eastdale Collegiate! (701 Gerrard St E)
This is a large rooftop garden on the 4th floor of a high school, though we will not be working with students. During the summer, we will be maintaining this space through weeding, planting, and harvesting. Our volunteer sessions are 2 hours long.
At the beginning of the sessions, we will do a garden walk through to identify areas of the garden that need attention. This garden is in full sun so please prepare accordingly.
Meet a Green Thumbs staff at the front doors of the school at 1:30pm and we will walk up to the 4th floor together. For new volunteers we will have a quick orientation before getting into the garden.
