Powhatan State Park's maintenance team is looking for a volunteer to come out once a week and help them weed eat in the park. The plan is to have 4-5 volunteers on a rotating weekly schedule, so each person that signs up for weed eating will only have to come out once a month.
Once you sign up for weed eating, I will reach out to you to figure out which day of the week works best for your schedule.
The park uses gas-powered weed-eaters.
We will provide all necessary PPE (glasses, gloves, ear protection) and training to operate the weed eater.
Not recommended for volunteers under 18.
