Friends of Piedmont Restoration signup sheet
Join us as we begin the restoration of the Piedmont Trail System! The Beautification Agreement with Dallas Parks and Recreation has been signed! Yippee!
Meet at 2725 N. Jim Miller Rd., Dallas TX 75217, in the parking lot for the softball field. The address is a few blocks south of Scyene. Google map marker: https://maps.app.goo.gl/gPxboJEQMsraCUBz9
We will:
• Widen the Lacywood and Scyene Overlook Trails
• Privet removal around exceptional trees
• Drag cut brush and fallen timber to block eroding trails sections
Bring:
• Water
• Loppers (if you have)
Wear:
• Sturdy closed-toe shoes
• Leather or garden gloves
• Long pants
• Long sleeve shirt
Fifteen loppers, 30 pair of gloves, 3 Extrategators have been graciously provided by Trinity Coalition.
