Preparation: unpack, sort, and lay out book in 4 areas (Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle School, HS/Adult) signup sheet
We will unpack about 26 pallets of books starting a 8 am. working in 2-hour "shifts" with a group of 4 volunteers on a pallet. We will need volunteers working in each book area so that the layout allows people to walk around while picking out books. Cardboard boxes will be broken down and stacked in a central location for pickup by Lowell Recycling. We will have the tools. You are welcome to sign up for more than one shift. Volunteers who need to have service time documented see Amy or Mickie.
