Friends of Shelby Crew Leader Training - Saturday, September 13th (9-11 AM) signup sheet
Thank you for your interest in Friends of Shelby's Restore the Forest Crew Leader position! This training will take place at the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center on Saturday, September 13th from 9-11 AM.
As volunteers, our Crew Leaders greatly expand our capacity for environmental restoration in Shelby Park and Bottoms. In order to become a Crew Leader, you must attend this training, which will be a combination of a digital presentation and in-field practice. This means you must wear closed-toe shoes for your safety, as well as long pants and long socks. Please be sure to dress according to the weather otherwise.
Water and snacks will be provided, but bringing your own water bottle is recommended. There are restrooms available in the Nature Center for you to use. Any questions should be directed to cd@friendsofshelby.org. Thank you for your support!
