June 23rd, 2024- GYMKHANA SERIES signup sheet

Here is a list of volunteer positions for the June Gymkhana. I have split the positions into shifts in case you want to change up your volunteering throughout the day :)

Announcer:
- On the PA system introduce the rider/horse combination
- Introduce the class and bring positive energy
- Let the spectators know when lunch is!
- Call out the results

Class Timer:
- Stand at either side of the arena holding a clip board of rider names/times. Stop watch and time each rider through the course (there are two of you to corroborate timing)
- Chair provided, bring a big sun hat :D

Gate Keeper
- Open and close the gate for the riders as they enter and exit the arena

Concession - Lunch runs from 12-1PM
Morning Shift -
- Start Coffee, put out baked goods, coffee tea
- Prep onions and condiments for lunch
- Help with any morning registrations and adding them to the timer/announcer sheets
- Sell 50/50 tix

Afternoon Shift
- BBQ up lunch
- Sell items and handle money
- More 50/5 tickets
- Tidy once done
