EVENT: Annual Earth Day event @ Houston Arboretum & Nature Center

WHEN: Saturday, April 27, 2024 @ 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. (Actual Event Run Time: 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.)

WHERE: Houston Arboretum & Nature Center, 4501 Woodway Drive, Houston, TX 77024

SERVICE: Volunteers will assist with the initial setup, staffing and ultimate breakdown of a GCTMN booth which will serve as a place of outreach focus for our chapter during this HANC hosted event to help event attendees better understand and appreciate the environment for Earth Day 2024. A number of environmental themed and focused booths will also be present and participate in the event. The messaging of our booth for this year's event will be to provide general information about our Master Naturalist chapter. Further, information about the State's Texas Master Naturalist program and the role of informed volunteers in our mission will be shared. Our booth will be outdoors and held rain or shine.
