Role Overview:
Concert Ambassadors are an important part of delivering a smooth and memorable live music experience at the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show. These volunteers assist patrons with entry into the Grandstand concerts, support the Concert Committee, and help ensure that guests enjoy a safe and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities:
Greet patrons with a friendly welcome as they arrive for concerts.
Scan tickets or passes and verify entry.
Apply wristbands quickly and accurately.
Direct patrons to their assigned seating sections.
Provide information about concert timing, facilities, and safety procedures.
Assist the Concert Committee with entry flow, patron questions, or other on-site needs.
Represent the Fair with professionalism, enthusiasm, and excellent guest service.
Skills & Qualities:
Outgoing, approachable, and comfortable engaging with large crowds.
Organized and attentive to detail when scanning passes and wristbanding.
Able to give clear directions and communicate effectively.
Team player with a positive, helpful attitude.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Time Commitment:
Shifts available on concert nights (Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11, 2025).
Volunteers may be asked to arrive 1 hours before concert start time for setup and training.
