Fun Fest 2025 signup sheet
Fun Fest will take place on May 10th from 12:30-5:15 at Unity Park in Turners Falls. Thank you for signing up to volunteer! We are relying on lots of help to make this event successful. If you are volunteering as a minor, we will need a parental consent on file prior to the event. Please email annierose@musicafranklin.org to request a waiver. Festival Decorations & Set-Up: Assemble pop-up tents, move chairs & tables, hang banners, set up activity supplies, post signage, etc. Whatever needs to be done to get ready for the public!

Greeter: Use provided click counters to try to get accurate head count of each person entering the festival. Greet public, answer questions about Música Franklin, hand out first aid supplies if necessary, direct volunteers to sign in sheet and their designated station, encourage people leaving to fill out surveys, etc. Shifts will be staggered so that volunteers can teach the next shift.

Instrument Petting Zoo: Volunteer will help students try out an assortment of instruments. Some musical knowledge is preferred!

Surveys: Wander festival and ask people to fill out very brief feedback survey, which you will ideally enter on your phone via Google Forms. Paper copies and a clipboard will also be available. This is a job for an outgoing person who is not shy to approach strangers and ask them to complete the survey!

Clean-up: Scan park for trash and properly dispose of any found; gather and put away supplies from activity tables; wipe and break down activity tables; break-down pop-up tents; put away folding tables and chairs; help load supplies into designated vehicles, etc.
