MLK Service Project for Employees: Book Harvest Warehouse signup sheet
Durham Tech employees are invited for an afternoon of book sorting and packaging at Book Harvest's Bacon Street warehouse on Friday, January 17th from 1:30 -- 4:30 p.m. Book Harvest provides books to low-income children in central North Carolina to help close the achievement gap. Volunteers will sort a large shipment of donated books at the Book Harvest warehouse on Bacon Street.
Our team will meet in the Wynn lobby at 1:00 p.m. and walk over to the Durham Public School's warehouse located at 808 Bacon street at 1:15 p.m. All volunteers must first sign in at DPS's warehouse lobby. The warehouse lobby is located in the side entrance of the warehouse directly across from Durham Tech's building 20. Limited transportation in a Durham Tech van is available if needed.
