We are so excited to celebrate Dia de los Muertos in-person again on Saturday, November 4 at El Centro de la Raza (2524 16th Ave S., Seattle WA 98144)! We need volunteers to help with set-up/clean-up, greeters/ushers, children's activities, parking lot assistance, photography, info tables, and more. Help us make this event great!
Activities include:
~Set-up (the day before OR the morning of the event)
~Food Service Volunteers: Helping with our community meal (chicken mole), our hot chocolate stand, handing out complimentary beverages, and dishes/cleanup!
~Children's activities: Assist the childrens' activities table, which will include Dia de los Muertos themed art projects!
~Greeters/Ushers: Float throughout the event assisting plaza guests with general questions, and monitoring the food and vendor lines
~Info booths (Raffles, T-shirt sales, donation boxes)
~Event photographers
~Performance assistance / Parking lot assistance: Assisting dancers and musicians in preparing for their performances on our main stage, OR Monitoring the parking area in the rear of building to manage traffic (groups will take turns)
~Voter registration table
~Clean-up
