The City of Elkhart and The Lerner Theatre are thrilled to welcome back Celebration Under The Stars featuring Boyz II Men and The Jacksons on Saturday, August 29th, 2026 at 7:00pm.
This free community celebration, presented by The Elkhart County CVB and Friends of The Lerner, among others is an unforgettable evening that blends Elkhart’s musical heritage with world-class production. Set against the backdrop of Central Green, this year’s event will transform the space into another dynamic, high-energy atmosphere. Celebration Under the Stars showcases the very best of Elkhart: a community rooted in music, driven by creativity, and committed to creating extraordinary experiences.
**PLEASE NOTE: A CITY OF ELKHART VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT AND A VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION ARE MANDATORY TO BE A VOLUNTEER FOR CELEBRATION UNDER THE STARS. SIGNING UP DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU A VOLUNTEER SPOT. POSITIONS WILL BE ASSIGNED PRIOR TO ORIENTATION. AGREEMENT FORMS WILL BE EMAILED AFTER SIGNING UP.

**VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES**
Be a part of the biggest celebration in Downtown Elkhart!
As a volunteer, you will receive a free T-shirt that must be worn during your shift.
4 shifts are available throughout the day.
Early shifts will assist with setup.
Late shift will assist with tear down.
Positions include info tent, parking lot greeters, cart drivers (City employees only), ID checkers, etc.
