Thank you for volunteering! All money raised is split between the Brookline and Milford Conservation Commissions to help support trail maintenance and accessibility.
Please check in at Camp Tevya, 1 Mason Road, Brookline, NH to pick up your bike support materials. Melody has made you some pretty glamorous signs and put together aid bags for you to carry on your bike! Please allow a little extra time before your shift for parking.
Please check out the volunteer pages on our website: https://sites.google.com/site/ghosttrainrailtrailrace/volunteering. There is a great overview of the event, an FAQ, parking information, and job descriptions. Children ages 12 through 17 may volunteer when accompanied by a parent who is volunteering at the same location and during the same shift. If you have any questions, please email the RD, Rob, at ghosttrainrace@gmail.com.
This is a BYOB event - "Bring Your Own Bike". The race and especially the runners truly appreciate seeing the bike patrols - it means a lot to them! However, we are unable to supply bikes, nighttime lighting, helmets, or other gear. Do feel free to dress up your bike, wear a costume, or play music at a reasonable volume!
Please note: while we love babies and pets, do not bring them with you to your volunteer shift so you can give your full focus to the runners. Thank you for your understanding.
