Wildcat Welcome Week, 2015 Volunteer Sign Up Sheet

Thank you in advance for your participation in Wildcat Welcome, 2015.
You will play a major role in welcoming our new students to our wonderful campus, we could not do it without you.

Descriptions of volunteer opportunities:

Big C Welcome Ceremony
Description: Welcoming of our new students to Chico State, including address by President Zingg and AS President Deanna Jarquin.
Mission: Focused on the Chico State culture and mascot, this event is designed for students to foster a sense of “belonging” and “school spirit”.

Department Meetings
Description: Individual department meetings to highlight department specific information and expectations.
Mission: Opportunity for new students to learn how to navigate within department guidelines for their major.

Rock ‘da Block
Description: Music, games, snow cones and food in a carnival-like atmosphere featuring members of existing student organizations.
Mission: Highlight alcohol-alternative fun and networking among new students.

Wildcat Canstruction
Description: Build Willie the Wildcat's Head out of cans that will help end food insecurity of fellow Chico State Students!
Mission: Educate students on the importance of donating cans to the Hungry Wildcat Pantry

Wildcat Tabling
Description: Sell cans to students and market the Wildcat's CAN food drive to Chico State students around campus!
Mission: Educate students on the importance of donating cans to the Hungry Wildcat Pantry
