Fishtown Mural Painting Sign-Up
Residents of Fishtown and surrounding neighborhoods are invited to help paint a new mural with artist Miriam Singer, presented by Mural Arts Philadelphia. The mural will be installed outside of Mural City Cellars at 1831 Frankford Avenue (Frankford and Berks). On May 2 and May 17, join Miriam and Mural Arts Philadelphia in an outdoor mural painting activity. Volunteers will have an opportunity to pick up a brush and help paint the actual mural right on the wall.
Spots are limited. Please sign up for one time slot only.
Expectations:
- You may get paint on your clothes and shoes (wear something you don’t mind staining)
- Activity is outdoors and weather-dependent
- Instructions and materials will be provided
- Volunteers ages 8 and up are welcome, but children must be supervised by a parent or guardian
- Please arrive 5–10 minutes early for your time slot
- If you can’t attend, notify us so we can offer your spot to someone else
