[NOTE: DO NOT SIGN UP FOR MORE THAN 2 SHIFTS INITIALLY. WE MAY ASK FOR MORE HELP DURING THE WEEKEND] Welcome and thank you. Without your help FIST FEST would not happen. We are an all volunteer, non-profit organization. Your help is vital to keep costs down and for the very survival of the events. Every Volunteer will receive a fist fest T-shirt and a ticket into the big raffle for some great stuff one being a chance to be the lucky winner of having a room held and free pass for your next Fist Fest (expires in 12 months.) Below is a basic description of assignments throughout the weekend. Note that all shifts start on the Cafe Deck unless otherwise indicated, and shifts were created to be brief and easy to do. •For the folks that come early we need help with SET UP on Wednesday. Putting up slings and setting of the play spaces, getting poster up and stock ready for play. We will treat those folks to a dinner out. •Thursday is REGISTRATION set up & check in (be first to meet all those handsome men.) •SUPPLIES AND DRINKS RESTOCKING shifts start that evening and happen through out the weekend; those shifts consist of restocking beverages and supplies (paper towels and puppy pads,) removing trash, and cleaning up. •BARTENDING or MARY’S AND MIMOSAS shift is setting up the bar and handing out ice in a cup so lubed hands don’t touch the ice. If you like to pour drinks you're more then welcome to be a bartender. The last bar shifts include cleaning up and puting away the supplies. •Friday night Hot dogs! Cooks and servers, setting up, grill dogs, serve, and clean up. •And finally TEAR DOWN on Saturday evening where we dismantle and put everything away for next time. •FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT SEAN BY EMAIL AT volunteers@ffitevents.org
