We have been invited to assist with parking at the Thousand Springs Arts Festival on Ritter Island on Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th — and we need your help! This is a dual-support volunteer event, meaning your time directly benefits both the QRU Nonprofit Organization and the Magic Valley Arts Council. By volunteering, you are helping support local emergency responder initiatives while also supporting arts and culture in our community. Each shift requires 4 volunteers.
📍 Event Location: Ritter Island, 1205 Thousand Springs Grade, Wendell, ID 83355
🚗 Volunteer Check-In:
Please check in with the Volunteer Coordinator in the parking area at the top of the grade.
⏰ Arrival Time:
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled shift to allow enough time to get acquainted with your duties and receive instructions.
☀️ Important Event Notes:
This is an outdoor event and volunteers will be standing on uneven dirt ground for the duration of their shift.
Please only sign up if you are physically able to stand and work on uneven terrain for your scheduled time.
Dress comfortably and appropriately with sturdy shoes, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, water bottles, etc.
Reflective vests will be provided.
Some water will be available for volunteers, but we strongly recommend bringing your own water as well.
🍴 Food & Beverage Coupons are provided to volunteers by the Magic Valley Arts Council:
If you have a morning shift, please ride the bus down after your shift, go through admissions to VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN to pick up your food and beverage coupons, then explore and enjoy TSFA.
If you have an afternoon shift, come early to pick up your coupons at VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN, enjoy the festival, then return to the parking lot for your shift.
