IASAQ Parents Group signup sheet
Volunteers needed to help with our Parents Group Scribble Morning!

Volunteer hours: 09:30 am to 12 .30pm
By signing up to be a volunteer with the parent’s group, you agree to commit to the hours above.
If you are running late or can’t make it in, please inform IASAQ staff as soon as possible.
Volunteer duties:
· Informing parents of the services available to them at IASAQ.
· Promoting IASAQ Parents group and other events.
· Communicating and connecting with the parents who attend.
· Assisting with the children and ensuring their safety
· Assisting the Outreach worker while out on location with the Parents group.
· Set up and breakdown of the hall
· Tea and Coffee Set up on the main table
· Show new members where the baby change, toilets and kitchen.
The following is a step-by-step example guide for the Parents group
9.30am: Setting up the area with seating and toys, prepare table for tea and coffee, prep all forms and signs for sign in and registration.
10am: Parents and children arrive, welcome and introduce yourself as the volunteer, ask parents to sign in and complete relevant paperwork for new members to the group.
11am: Morning Tea at table, remind parents that no drink or food is permitted the hall and to keep children around the table or in the hall as the building is a shared office space.
11.45am: Tidy up time, put back all toys and seats, encourage parents and children to tidy up the area, if the tv is in the hall, you can put the tidy up songs on YouTube.
12pm: Group is over, continue with tidy up, tea and coffee returned to office, all dishes washed, dried and returned to the office, hoover table area if needed, all toys returned to storage- if unsure please ask staff if there is anything else to be done.
12.30pm : Hours complete, please check in with Volunteer Coordinator/ Outreach Worker before leaving.
