Milk is a 2008 American biographical drama based on the life of gay rights activist and politician Harvey Milk, who was the first openly gay man to be voted into major public office in California, and the third openly homosexual politician in the entire United States.

Nominated for 5 Academy Awards. Won for Best Actor (Sean Penn) and Best Original Screenplay.

Rated R for language, some sexual content and brief violence. 2 hours, 8 minutes. Pizza and popcorn provided.
