9th Annual Arizona Balloon Classic to benefit the Valley of the Sun United Way signup sheet

Arizona's Premier Hot Air Balloon Race and Festival. Friday-Sunday, January 24th - 26th, 2020 at the Goodyear Ballpark in Goodyear. 1933 S. Ballpark Way, Goodyear, Az 85338. (Estrella Pkwy & Lower Buckeye - South of I-10) Map is on the event website. For additional event information visit the website at www.abcfest.com or our facebook @arizonaballoonclassic.

Please check the list below to see where we need your help. The volunteer check-in tent will be located next to the Box Office. Please check in 30 minutes prior to your shift to go over the FUN stuff.

Volunteers will receive 2 FREE event tickets, snacks, meals (during lunch or dinner shifts) and a t-shirt when you check in for your shift. You'll receive a FREE parking pass too (e-mailed to you a week before the event). Feel free to pass the word along to recruit more help. You may copy and paste the volunteer signup link or direct your family and friends to the event website. A brief description is listed below. Balloon Crew - Assisting on the balloon crew is one of the most important opportunities for a volunteer. The pilot values you by your part in working together with the pilot's crew. It is important that you do not have any back or leg problems, as you will be assisting with the layout, inflation, and launch of the hot air balloon. You may be asked to ride with the chase crew as they follow the balloon and help deflate and pack up the balloon after the flight. You may also have operational responsibility.
