Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the AJGA Junior presented by Decatur Morgan County Tourism! This event will take place at Burningtree Country Club from Tuesday May 26 - Friday May 29, 2026. The tournament will feature 78 of the nation’s best junior golfers. We are looking for volunteers to help in the following roles:
- Timing Stations: Record groups’ times and scores at timing station holes.
- Players Registration: Assist the AJGA staff in registering golfers and handing out registration gifts.
- Water Rover: Refresh and ice down AJGA water coolers on the course throughout the day.
- Spotter: Watch player's tee shots and assist in finding their golf balls if gone astray.
- Medical Attendant: Assist with any medical issues during the event. (MUST be CPR/First Aid Certified)
Please select the dates, times, and volunteer roles that work best for you (Note: timing stations positions are the highest priority). Feel free to volunteer on multiple days and times.
All volunteers will be required to sign a liability waiver and return it to the Tournament Director electronically before their volunteer shift. The Tournament Director will communicate this before the start of the event. Please reach out to the Tournament Director anytime with specific questions.
All volunteers will receive an AJGA hat, pin and lunch.
If you have a scheduling conflict or are unable to volunteer on the given dates and times, here are a couple ways you can support the AJGA outside of volunteering:
• Private Housing: Hosting one or more AJGA staff members for the duration of the event
• Donated Product: Donating cases of water/fruit for juniors to have during the tournament
• Staff Cost Donation: Donation used by the AJGA to help cover staff costs such as hotel costs, gas costs, etc.
