Pawpaw Foraging Volunteers signup sheet
The park is looking for volunteers to come out and gather pawpaws before the day of the Pawpaw festival! The park will be providing pawpaws for guests so they can learn how to successfully ID them, taste-test them, and so they don’t attempt to venture off-trail if the pawpaw trees on the foraging hike route end up bare from the guided hikes.
Pawpaw foraging volunteers will go out on the date of their choice to pick pawpaws in areas of the park - excluding the festival’s foraging hike areas. Collected pawpaws will be handed over to the rangers at the end of the day's foraging session.
