*MUST HAVE LARGE ANIMAL HANDLING EXPERIENCE!*
We have 3 shelter locations so be sure to pay attention to which one you are selecting so you show up at the right place!
**Please be advised we are doing our best to be COVID compliant and have safety measures in place. Bring a mask to wear, wash your hands frequently and maintain social distance from others - If you have COVID symptoms or recent exposure DO NOT sign up for any shifts, you will not be allowed to work in any shelter**
Animal Biosecurity measures also required-Only designated animal handlers work directly with animals, sanitize between between animals/etc.
Please come dressed to work in outdoor conditions in a farm/ranch environment: Wear long pants/jeans, boots/closed toe shoes, tshirt and suncreen +/- hat. Conditions may be hot/dry so be aware and prepared.
Please note if you choose to work at the Ag4Youth Livestock Shelter, you will need to check in at NVHA LA Shelter intake desk with shelter lead first and they will review Livestock shelter needs and orient you accordingly.
