RiverSing Crew signup sheet

Hi Volunteers

We're looking for a crew to help us at RiverSing this year.

Set Up Crew:
Be a part of the RiverSing Set Up Crew. We need people to help set up tents and tables, help on the stage, hang banners, unload the truck, string lights... things like thatPu. And it would be great if there was someone comfortable on a ladder.

Puppet Minder:
We need a few people who can help our dragons and Oshun puppet get into costume and navigate the crowds to and from the stage. You can do both set up and puppet minder, even though the times overlap.

RiverSing is Saturday, Sept 20. (Rain date is Sept 21 - if that happens we'll reach out to see who is available).

Information Tent:
We're looking for two people to help staff the information tent. You'll hand out programs, help with the free raffle, answer questions about RiverSing. You'll be interfacing with the audience.

Backpack Puppeteer
We have 4 large puppets that will march in the parade and then stand behind the stage for the first song. We need 4 adults who can wear these puppets (worn like a backpack).

Parade Participants
Come march with us! Join the parade dressed as your favorite fairy tale character (or come as yourself). Carry a banner or a puppet or just march along with us. The more the merrier!

Weeks Footbridge. Cross streets of DeWolfe and Memorial Drive.


Location for Large Puppet Puppeteers and Parade Participants
Winthrop Park, Harvard Square. Near Grendel's Den on JFK Street

Arrival Time: 2:00pm at the Weeks Footbridge
Finish: 6:00pm

PUPPET MINDER
Arrival Time: 4:00pm at the Weeks Footbridge
Finish: End of event (7:30ish)

INFORMATION TENT
Arrival Time: 4:00 at the Weeks Footbridge
Finish: End of event (7:30ish).

LARGE PUPPET PUPPETEER
Arrival Time: 5:00 at Winthrop Park, Harvard Square
Finish: After the first song

Parade Participants
Arrival Time: 5:00 Winthrop Park, Harvard Square
Finish: After the Honk Bank song at the river


Anyone who wants to stick around for load out at 7:15 is, of course, welcome to do so!
