We love when volunteers step up! Final placements will be based on fit and need so everyone—guests and volunteers alike—has the best experience.

🍽️🥤 Food & Beverage Team
Fast-moving and team-oriented. Some roles are guest-facing; others are behind the scenes. Expect a tent/kitchen environment that can get warm—plan for the weather. ⛅

🥕🔪 Food & Beverage Prep
What you’ll do: chop, portion, set up drinks, and prep menu items to keep service humming.
Great for: detail-oriented helpers who like behind-the-scenes work.

🧾💳 Order Taker (Square/Cash)
What you’ll do: greet guests, take orders, and process payments with Square or cash; keep the line moving.
Great for: friendly, quick communicators comfortable handling money.

🍔📣 Runner / Expediter — Service Windows
What you’ll do: call out orders, match tickets to meals, and hand off food accurately; coordinate with kitchen and order takers.
Great for: organized multitaskers who thrive in a fast pace.

Physical demands (most roles)
👣 Standing and walking for extended periods; fast pace during peak times
📦 Light to moderate lifting (supplies/stock)

What to wear/bring (all kitchen/food roles)
👟 Comfortable, closed-toe shoes
🧢 Hair secured (hat or hair tie); minimal jewelry
💧 Water bottle; light layers (tents can run warm/cool)

Food-safety basics
🧼 Wash/sanitize hands regularly; use gloves where directed
🧹 *Final shift: clean and tidy the area and follow lead instructions for closing tasks
