In our historic building located in the heart of Downtown Edmonton, the EDFMA is proud to be Edmonton’s oldest farmer’s market, serving our community since 1903. From locally-grown organic produce to hand-crafted artisan goods, we strive to provide a welcoming family environment that is affordable, and accessible to everyone. Whether you’re looking to browse our art gallery, enjoy a latte or dessert on our spacious 2nd floor, or learn to love your local, the Edmonton Downtown Farmer’s Market has something for everyone!
We are looking for volunteers to join our community and assist us with operating our historic elevator, sharing stories of the past with all that ride to the second floor. Materials will provided to review. Training will be provided ,this role may include some research to be able to provide those stories.
Special Events at our Market will require a few extra hands to ensure we are successful, these events will be throughout the year. If you are interested in volunteering please list the days and times you are available. Most work will be during market hours, Saturday 9am - 3pm and Sunday 11am - 3pm.
