Volunteer Sign Ups for Winter 2024/2025

Please select an event/date to volunteer. See below for more details about each volunteer opportunity. You will receive a reminder email a couple of days before the event. If you have any questions, feel free to email Leila at programs@captainaverymuseum.org. And thank you!

UPCOMING EVENTS

Event Set Up (Each Tuesday before the Wednesday Lecture (January 7 through February 25)
Volunteers are needed from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Help is needed with setting tables, organizing supplies, and prepping kitchen.

Event Volunteer - Winter Luncheon Series (Every Wednesday, January 8 through February 26)
Volunteers are needed from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Help is needed with checking in attendees, serving food and drink, and cleaning up.

PAST EVENTS

Event Volunteer - Tea with the Sugar Plum Fairy and Nutcracker Prince (December 1 and December 8)
Volunteers are needed from 12:00 to 3:30 pm. Help is needed with setting up tables and chairs, preparing refreshments, checking in registrants, taking cash and credit card payments, serving lunch, and cleaning up.

Event Food Volunteer - Tea with the Sugar Plum Fairy and Nutcracker Prince (December 1 and December 8)
Volunteers are needed to prepare tea sandwiches and cookies for our two Nutcracker events on December 1 and December 8. Please drop off food by 10 am on the day of the event.

Pre-Event Volunteer - Wine Bottle Wrapping (December 12)
Volunteers are needed to wrap and decorate the wine bottles that will be part of the Holiday Party and Wine Pull on December 13. All materials provided as well as a light lunch.

Event Volunteer - Holiday Party and Wine Pull (December 13)
Volunteers are needed from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Help is needed with setting up tables and chairs, preparing refreshments, checking in registrants, taking cash and credit card payments, and cleaning up.
