Kenmore Quickies 2025 - Auditions signup sheet
As If Theatre Company is seeking actors of all ages and gender identification/ presentation for their fourth annual short play festival, "The Kenmore Quickies - Play It By Ear", August 8-10, 2024. To celebrate our 5th anniversary of this festival, each prompt will be pulled from the work of As If’s resident Sound Designer / Composer and Kenmore resident, William French. Actors will be in two of the short plays. There will be a kick-off event on June 9, which is required for all participants (prompts, directors, and actors will be assigned at this time). Rehearsals will be held at Northlake Lutheran Church and run 4 days a week starting on July 21, with four performances August 8-10 at the Kenmore Community Club, 7304 NE 175th St, Kenmore, WA 98028 (Friday, August 8 at 7:30pm, Saturday, August 9 at 2pm and 7:30pm, and Sunday, August 10 at 5:00pm). There will be a $100 stipend.
Auditions are Sunday & Monday, May 18 & 19, 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Northlake Lutheran Church, 6620 NE 185th St, Kenmore, WA 98028. Actors should come prepared with a headshot/resume and 2 contrasting monologues, the total no longer than 2 minutes.
