PARENT HELPERS REQUIRED:
Date: Friday 22nd March, 2024.
Venue: GR Bricker Reserve, Rowans Road, Moorabbin.
To successfully run a sporting event of this scale we require and request the support from many of our wonderful parents here at St. Finbar's.
To support parent helpers, we have also organised a number of SEDA College basketball students & De La Salle Secondary students to assist.
If you would be willing to assist on the day, please select the time and role you'd like to assist with below.
Options are:
Set up (7/ 7.15am) &/or
AM (9am - 12pm) &/or
PM (12pm - 3.00pm) &/or
or full day support (add name to both morning shift & an afternoon shift)
Pack up (3.00 - 3.15pm).
You will receive a confirmation email a few days prior to the carnival, confirming your role and reminder of your time of support. Due to circumstances, some roles may need to be shuffled as priority in support may need to be considered.
If you are assisting with the Junior (P-2) carnival as well, please add an * BEFORE your name (eg. *Tania Thompson). Ideally we'd like to not take up your whole day with a role, so if our volunteer numbers are strong, we will only place you on one or the other carnival.
*Required: all volunteer helpers with schools are required to have a current Working With Children's Check (WWCC).
We ask that you please ensure you have a current WWCC, apply for one now online, & update your WWCC details on your Operoo information.
*A Coffee cart will be on site for part of the day for all spectators, helpers & staff to buy a hot drink from.
We do appreciate any parents/guardians that are keen to assist for the whole day, so please add your name to a morning role as well as an afternoon role if this is the case.
Many thanks for your anticipated support!
We look forward to a great day of participation, big efforts &loads of team spirit from everyone involved!
