Busse Woods Habitat Restoration - 11/10/19 signup sheet

It's time to give back to the place we love to bike, run, walk, hike, roller blade, cross country ski, picnic, etc. This message is for everyone who enjoyed the natural beauty of Busse Woods this year! Volunteers will cut and burn invasive plants, such as buckthorn.

We'll be working with The Friends of Busse Woods during this workday. The Friends of Busse Woods volunteers work to restore a unique, rich, and diverse habitat. Join us at an ecological restoration workday. Activity varies by season and includes invasive plant control, seed collecting, and bird and frog monitoring.

This workday will be fun for all ages. If you plan on attending, be sure to wear long sleeves, long pants, and sturdy shoes. Tools and gloves will be provided. For an idea of what we'll be doing, check out the second slide show on the home page of our website.
