The Archdiocese of Hartford will be hosting it's annual Traveling Rosary Congress for 2022. A Traveling Rosary Congress is seven days of around-the-clock Eucharistic Adoration and Hourly Rosary in response to Our Lady of Fatima’s call to conversion, consecration and prayer, with each 24-hour period hosted at a different parish. It is offered in a spirit of reparation to restore the sanctity of life, to heal families, establish peace in our cities, nation, and world, and to console the hearts of Jesus and Mary.
St. Mary Parish will host on Wednesday, October 5 with a 5:00 pm Opening Mass at St. Joseph Church and conclude on Thursday, October 6 with 4:30 pm Benediction. During this period, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will take place at St. Joseph Church, with the Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy prayed aloud at the start of each hour, followed by silent prayer for the remainder of the hour.
Please consider participating in this special event as we pray in reparation for our families, our archdiocese, our city, and our country, by volunteering to cover one of the hours of Adoration during the day or the night hours. Come with a friend, with your family, or if you are part of a parish group, consider volunteering as a group to pray for an hour. If you are interested in participating, please, sign-up on the schedule in the vestibule of St. Mary or St. Joseph Church or sign up online. If you have any qustions, please contact Deacon Ernie Scrivani, T.O., Carm.at (203) 980-8596 or at ernestscrivani@gmail.com.
All are welcome to attend.
