Thanks for your interest in supporting National Bike Month and Bike/Walk to School Day! The Davidson Parks and Recreation Department is helping to coordinate community service opportunities - see list below.

May 4 is Davidson Bike/Walk to School Day

- Volunteers are needed to provide support at key intersections throughout town, to help local students during Bike/Walk to School Day. Adults and teens (age 15+) may sign up below. We will have bright color vests volunteers to wear. An email with detailed information about location and supplies will be sent to all volunteers prior to the event. Police/Crossing Guards/Parks & Rec staff locations: Griffith and Beaty; S. Main St./Chairman Blake (CVS); Davidson K-8/South St.; Bike Patrol car from Robert Walker to Main St.

- If you can lead a "Walking School Bus" or "Bike Train" from your neighborhood. If so please provide the meeting time and location.

May 14 is the Lake Norman Bike Expo
- This year the event will be held in Cornelius (10am-noon; Community Ride 9:30am), please sign-up below if you'd like to volunteer. Visit www.townofdavidson.org/bikemonth for a full line up of Bike Month events.
