Wachusett NEMBA/Holden Trail Day signup sheet

A trail work day is planned for Saturday, November 13th from 9-1pm with a ride around Trout Brook for anyone who can stay afterwards. The goals are to:

Turn a path that people have already begun to use into a permanent route for the Bob Elms trail. This will involve raking, pruning, moving rocks, and building some short bog bridges.
Closing down the old section of Bob Elms by blocking it with natural barriers and removing rickety structures people have placed over the wettest section.

We’d love your help returning the Bob Elms trail to a functional state so that riders and others can enjoy it. If we need more tools we'll put the word out, but for now plan to being a pair of work gloves. Parking will be on the North St lot. This is a small lot so if you can carpool with others that would be great. Hope to see you there!
