Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Polo Golf Junior Classic at Liberty national! The Polo Golf Junior Classic at Liberty National will take place at Liberty National Golf Club from June 24-28, 2019. The tournament will feature 64 of the world’s best junior golfers. We are looking for volunteers to help in the following roles:
• Timing Stations: Record groups’ times and help AJGA staff enforce pace of play guidelines. Stationed at the green of a hole on the golf course.
• Water/Fruit Coolers: Help restock coolers with water, ice, and fruit throughout the golf course.
• Equipment Survey: Help AJGA staff survey players on the equipment (clubs, golf ball, clothes, golf bag, etc.) they are using for the tournament.
• Shuttles: Shuttle players from the clubhouse to the driving range and off of the course as their matches conclude.
• Volunteer Check-In: Greet volunteers and assist in getting them into position for their volunteer duty.
• Registration: Assist the AJGA in registering players and Junior-Am participants.
As a thank you for your time commitment, each volunteer will receive a Volunteer Package. Each Volunteer Package includes: Polo Golf Shirt, Imperial Headwear Golf hat, AJGA pin, lunch and beverages.
Attire:
All volunteers will receive their volunteer gift package on the day of their first shift. The gift package will include a Polo Ralph Lauren golf shirt, an Imperial Headwear hat, and an AJGA pin. The shirts will be white.
Parking:
Volunteer parking will be in the lower level lot of Liberty National Golf Club. Please provide your name to the gate attendant and they will direct you to the appropriate location.
Volunteer Check-In:
A volunteer check-in table will be located in the lobby of the clubhouse. Please enter through the main entrance. If you need assistance on-site, any AJGA staff member will be able to assist. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your shift. Any necessary training will take place at this time.
Please select the dates, times, and volunteer roles that will work best for you (Note: shuttles are currently the highest need priority.). Feel free to volunteer on multiple days and for multiple shifts as long as they do not overlap.
