LGBTQ+ Youth Summit Volunteer Signup

On Saturday, May 28th, we are partnering with GLSEN (Gay and Lesbian Student Education Network) Maryland and Under Armour for a Youth Summit event. The theme for this year's event is "Get Active" and will take place at the UA House at Fayette (Living Classrooms) building.

The Youth Summit is a day-long (10am - 4pm) leadership and advocacy conference for LGBTQ+ youth leaders, GSA members, youth allies and GSA advisors. Students will get an opportunity to network, share ideas and learn from local community leaders from across the state of Maryland.

We are looking for volunteers to work with youth for the following sports: Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, and possibly Badminton. All volunteers are REQUIRED to get a background test. Let us know what sport you would like to help us with and we will get back to you. We need responses back no later than Friday, April 22nd.

We do not have a set number of volunteers we need yet because it would depend on how many kids attend. Thus, people will be chosen by the order of who signs up. Lunch will be provided for volunteers chosen.
