Audition sign ups are now available for the 2020 Woodland Park Players presentation of NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT with music by George & Ira Gershwin and book by Joe DePietro. Performances March 27, 28, 29 and April 2, 3, 4.

DATES AND LOCATIONS:
GENERAL AUDITIONS (MANDATORY) Saturday, November 16, from 9am-3:00pm (West Woodland Elementary School, 5601 4th Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98103)
DANCE CALL (MANDATORY) Monday November 18, 7-10 pm (Phinney Neighborhood Association, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., Seattle)
The first part of Dance Call is mandatory for everyone. After that the remaining time will be staggered for those interested in roles that require dance. For specific details, https://www.woodlandparkplayers.org/auditions
CALL BACKS (Invitation Only) Wednesday November 20, 6-10pm (West Woodland Elementary School, 5601 4th Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98103) All actors will be contacted via email if they are being called back. Sides will be provided for callbacks.


WHAT TO BRING AND PREPARE FOR YOUR "NICE WORK" GENERAL AUDITION:
Please bring a current photo of yourself (any size or quality, just make sure we can see your face; no hats, no sunglasses.)
Please bring a completed audition form, which will be available on our website by November 1.
Please prepare:
1-minute or less monologue, preferably memorized.
1-minute or less song, approx. 32 bars. (verse & chorus) You are asked to please bring the appropriate sheet music, no singing acapella.

Everyone who auditions will be measured for costumes following your audition.


IMPORTANT NOTES:
*If more people audition than we have roles for, cuts will be made.The director and producer will make decisions about cuts together, based on talent, fit, and balance of past, current and new members.
Final casting decision for ensemble will be done by lottery if necessary.

**Final casting decision is scheduled to happen on Tuesday November 26th. People cast in Lead & Supporting roles will be contacted by phone. All other cast members will receive an email. Please respond as soon as possible if you accept the role. Thank you.
