Friday, March 27, District 45 Breakfast & Lunch Delivery signup sheet

Deactivated

This signup sheet is not accepting new volunteers.
Please contact the event coordinator for further details.

Volunteers are to report to the main door just off of the east parking lot at Jackson Middle School located at 301 Jackson, Villa Park, IL 60181. You will be greeted by a volunteer captain who will be wearing a bright green YMCA t-shirt or a District 45 representative.

All Volunteers are to be at least 16 years of age and free of fever, rashes, and communicable diseases. If you have or suspect that you have been exposed to COVID-19, we thank you for your desire to support, but we ask that you please stay home and take care of your health. Volunteers may bring their children five years and older with them for this activity. Children must be healthy, free of fever, rash, communicable diseases, and not have or been exposed to COVID-19.

Upon arrival, volunteers will be issued gloves, prepackaged meals, and a folder (with writing materials and instructions) with their bus route stops. You will be assigned to a bus that the meals and coolers will be loaded onto. Please be sure to introduce yourself to your bus driver and other volunteer that will be with you on your bus route. As you begin making your bus route, you will want to be prepared to have one volunteer record how many meals are distributed and how many children and adults are at each stop. As you arrive at the site, one volunteer will take counts and the other volunteer will hand out meals. The volunteer that is handing out meals is to wear gloves in an effort to protect you, the recipient, and the food. Volunteers will get back into the bus and then proceed with the rest of the stops on their route repeating the same routine at each stop.

As you return from your route, volunteers will help remove any debris from the bus and back to the designated location at Jackson School.

Please know that we expect things to run smoothly, but we know that there may be hiccups as we get our routine down. If you have any questions, please see your volunteer captain or you may email sodonnell@tritownymca.org prior to your volunteer shift.

We greatly appreciate your generous donation of time and support.Volunteers are to report to Door #7 at Jackson Middle School located at 301 Jackson, Villa Park, IL 60181. You will be greeted by a volunteer captain who will be wearing a bright green YMCA t-shirt or a District 45 representative.
