2021 Buddy Poppy Campaign - May 26 to May 30 signup sheet

We need volunteers to solicit donations for our Buddy Poppy Campaign. Please sign up for a slot, or several if you can. the success of this fund raiser depends on our Post and Auxiliary members volunteering to help. Each slot is for two hours on a specific day at a specific business, except for for two three-hour shifts at Casey's and Starbucks. You can sign up for as many as you want, but we are depending upon you to follow through. We are particularly trying to cover grocery stores over the weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) as these locations give the greatest return.

Masks must be worn! We will have a touches poppy distribution again - poppies will be poked onto Styrofoam sheets and people will grab one for themselves. Stop by the conference room next to the bar to pick up a collection jug, instruction sheet, and ONE bag of poppies for each two-hour shift. Give your collection to the bartender after your shift, and put the left-over poppies and the jug back into the conference room. Be sure to put your name, locations and time where you collected, and designate if you are collecting for VFW or for the Auxiliary.

We will be collecting at some new locations this time - specifically two Walgreens and one Culver's and have eliminated others. We think Walgreen's will be as profitable as the grocery stores. Please scroll through the list, pick a spot and time, and if it shows the people are still needed, click and sign up. PLEASE be sure to give us BOTH phone and email contact information.
