Volunteers will work at curbside stations in front of Jefferson School during their scheduled shift. Jefferson School is located at 255 W. Vermont St, Villa Park. At the curbside stations, parents and/or students will drive/walk up and drop off their school items (i.e. Chromebooks, books, etc.) and then advance to the next station where they will pick up their graduation materials and/or locker items. Volunteers will be provided with gloves to wear and disinfectant supplies to keep their stations clean. Volunteers must wear their own face mask in order to participate. Volunteers must be comfortable lifting and walking with up to 50 pounds of supplies. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Please feel welcome to bring your own bag chair to sit in during your shift. Shade tents will be made available to help keep volunteers protected from the elements. There will be a designated member of the School District 45 team that will provide further information and details about your responsibilities as you arrive. Please park in the east parking lot.
