ACS Starlight Soiree 2023 - Silent Auction signup sheet

The event is being held at the Museum of Science and Curiosity. MOSAC (visitmosac.org)
Parking will be covered by the event.

Dress code will be nice/cocktail attire.

Silent Auction Duties:
-Be familiar with auction packages that are available; make sure the bid sheet is placed next to the correct package.
-Be aware of the “BUY IT NOW” process, where guests can make a guaranteed purchase, and tell guests it is an option. If guests sign on the buy it now line, take the slip directly to the registration area. Please watch the gift certificate area and they are all sold at 100% of value so there will be only one purchaser.
-Encourage guests to bid on auction items
-Do not change bid increase amounts
-When an item closes – highlight winner & take white bid sheet off the top of the form and leave the bottom colored copy by item to show that the item has been closed.
-Coordinate closing of tables at specific times. When the auctioneer makes the announcement table is closed, circle the winning bidder and take the white slip to registration/check-out for sale entry.
-We will have a runner to collect the closed slips to take to the redemption area.
