This four day event brings together public safety communication personnel for training, networking, and exposure to the latest and greatest tools available from our commercial partners. It takes a village to pull this kind of event together and volunteers make the difference. WE NEED YOU to be our SUPERHEROES and sign up for one, two or six shifts.
If you sign up for a shift, you will receive a complimentary day pass. Once you have signed up for your volunteer shift, the volunteer coordinator will email you a code to register online for your day pass. The day pass on Wednesday does not include the evening event admission. If you wish to join us for dinner on Wednesday, a separate event ticket is required.
**** PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CELL NUMBER WITH YOUR SIGN UP SO WE CAN GET REMINDERS OR CHANGES TO YOU! It will only be used and viewable to the volunteer coordinator.
Vendor set up and tear down involves being physically present as a resource as vendors set up and tear down their booths.
Vendor Registration involves meeting vendors as they arrive, welcoming them, and getting them checked in.
Room Proctors keep the conference moving! You will watch for badges as attendees enter sessions and introduce the sessions and speakers.
Tech Support is available to assist the conference committee with laptop connections, speakers, microphones, etc.
Speaker Ready Room involves greeting speakers as they arrive, answering questions, and serving as a resource to them as they prepare to provide sessions.
Runners are used to get messages to rooms, set up signs, checking badges at meals and keynote speeches, etc.
